In the fall of 2021 the present owner wanted to have a totally self sufficient energy system that would allow him to work on the boat all summer in 2022 and beyond without having to be connected to shore power. At that time he spent over $58,000 to totally update the electrical system to work off the grid with solar power and a complete lithium ion battery system. The result was a system that will power all the boats needs, except the A/C without having to run the included generator. He also upgraded the anchor and ground tackle so he could enjoys days on the hook without worrying about dock space.
